The brief was to design two traditional style semi-detached cottages in the former playground to the rear of the former village hall. Being on the edge of the conservation area, it was essential to ensure that the cottages were in keeping with the traditional one and a half storey style required by planners. The internal layout comprised:
- Three separate living / dining areas with French doors leading out to an external sitting/ dining area
- Three ensuite bedrooms
- A large kitchen with separate utility room
- The properties were purpose- built for use as self- catering accommodation
