2006: Three Residential Units (Port Charlotte, Islay)

Project Architect for conversion of the former Village Hall in Port Charlotte, a B Graded Listed Building built in 1832, into three residential units.
As the building was a listed building, the challenge was to create unique contemporary living areas whilst maintaining the existing character of the exterior.
In particular, the height of the internal areas provided an opportunity to use creative design to define three very distinct contemporary units.
